I'm well impressed with the print and packing, it needs a bit of time in the folio to flatten out before taking any pics or taking to the framers. The paper size is pretty large and the image inc embossed stamp, numbering and signature pretty much uses the full area.
FYI thomas, I payed on Sunday 24th

I'm extremely impressed - hefty Tube, with sprayed Mantis Tag - Tissue paper at the ends (someones listening to peoples concerns!) A COA - and the Gorgeous screenprint.
Looks fantastic in the flesh.
Funnily enough, I think the reason why I like it so much - it reminds me of a classic Banksy - no disrespect to Mantis, or perhaps thats a compliment, I don't know.
Can't wait to get it framed. ;D

Absolutely over the moon with it. I've pencilled into the dairy 'Day at the framers' to get some pieces out of their sleeves and where they belong... this one made the list before I even bought it.

No idea when its going to get framed, but by the looks of the paper and edges, probably get floated. Looks like I may be sharing framers with Pez, so I'll have to get in that queue as well!
By the way CBL - is that a black bevel on the Dead Che or is it a slip under the mount? Looks great that frame, thats what I'd visualised for my angel bombers.
I'll put some pics up soon of my JD with 2" silver wooden frame and wood slip - can't wait - its going to be huge!

Nope, if you ask your framer for it to be done to conservation standard the water soluable 'stickie whatever' will just harmlessly dab off, the same applys to prints that have a mount board, they too will be 'stuck' to the mountboard via a few hinges at the top edge of the print. It's all routine and perfectly safe.

In fact it's always a good idea to let the prints relax and flatten out before any type of framing, but at least with an aperture mountboard the board will be helping by pressing against the print all around the print edges.
