Hi.
Please remove my name from your post.
Correct, I was on this forum up until nola sales and the intro of karma (short lived) as dogant. Just returned - to sell a mates grey (without much begging needed by him at all). I have my own khaki.
As I said, please remove my name from your post.
Thankyou (name removed)
Ok, done. But what an absolute snide (expletive removed) So not only did you get a khaki, you moaned and also got a grey.
I removed all names but lets just clarify your user name ROBtheSAW
What a start to the YEaR.

in four years i've known him sell one Banksy, how many people do you know with a silver flag for example, edition of 20??
let he without sin cast the first stone i say.....

Apart from the fact certain forum members saw curley push in the queue.
Dont care if your a serious collector. He should have 1. Not pushed in and 2. Not pushed in. Its also an unconfirmed report that he stated 'im a serious collector so this is ok'.

Curley was at Berwick Street from 1700 on Friday, the rest is irrelevant IMO.

Yeah but he still pushed in. Dont care if he was there from 17.23 on tuesday. Still pushed in. Just because you were in the wrong queue near the front.. Does not mean your entitled to be at the front of the correct queue.

well i'd agree to disagree here John - and i'm sorry you missed out - but like i've just applauded Slammer for, no one knew shit at the time and still decided to form an orderly queue in the west end, the could have been told to go home at any time but they didn't.
if you'd been near to the front of that but then due to smoke and mirrors on POW's behalf and suffering at the hands of TFL and faced with the prospect of missing out or joining your mates then i know which one i'd choose, are you trying to tell me you would have done differently?

no, it wasn't anyone else either - a lot of bullshit has been spouted on these pages by people (rightly or wrongly) vexed that they missed out, a few of them cried like babies and got a new edition but then decided they weren't that fussed and sold the print anyway!!
now where is the real crime?

Dont mate me.
Because of dixks like you, alot of genuine people towards the back missed out.
Are you quite seriously and openly trying to justify its ok to push into a queue that you had no god given right to be in.
Infact, shove your mate up your ass.

The real crime is that this was a good will gesture by POW and Banksy to reward people who genuinely missed out on something they really deserved and wanted to appreciate as a peice of art and not just a way to make a load of money. Just the same as the few career beggars who beg during the day and live a comfortable life at others expence during the night, stop people wanting to give to anybody begging just in case, and in the process stop people receiving anything who really do need to beg to live, the moaners for profit have spoilt it for everyone in the future should anything similar happen again (lets hope not), because if it does I think we can be fairly sure that POW and Banksy will not be so generous again.
And before it is said that I am only saying that because I missed out, I wasn't there or deserved anything.

Nothing to see here, by colinfishwick on Feb 6, 2011 1:52:53 GMT 1, i had every right to be in it, as did every one i queued with at Berwick St - the difference is all of us bar one got round to POW in good time, the facts are here for everyone to see - we all queued from 1700 in Soho so yes, i believe certain people are far more deserving of a print than others.

Nothing to see here, by Deleted on Feb 6, 2011 1:57:00 GMT 1, IMO POW created a situation where a war could have broke out. to have roughly 300 people queueing at Berwick street. leave the shop and see us with our tents, my reclining chair and sleeping bag and tell us nothing, but send a email out at 9pm saying you all have to get to commercial street as fast as f**k, there are already loads of people there too. No security until about 7am. i believe that POW have themselves to blame for these problems.

i think you speak a hell of a lot of sense, there were people that missed out because my friend reclaimed his rightful place in the queue at commercial road - i'm genuinely sorry for them but i'd blame the scores of professional flippers employed by one or two dealers to queue on their behalf rather than having a go at a decent, honest bloke who has collected for a long time and sold almost nothing.
yet alone tried to plagiarise the f**king image eh Plumb?!!

You had NO right what so ever to be at the same position in the CORRECT queue. Its the equivalent of an saying i was first in this seat on the wrong train so i want the same seat on the right one. Everyone will tell you to f**k right off as its your own fault.
You sound like a right cock. Please tell everyone your original username on here as you seem to know alot about everyone seeing as you have a new account.
Lets just reiterate. You had NO RIGHT to jump the queue. You especially had no f**king right to jump the queue if you and your cleaky mates got one AND THEN moaned and got a queue jumper like (name removed) up there. And no i wont remove the name.

From all accounts it sounds like a right shambles, maybe next time they might do it a bit more fairly. As it is I think anyone who did miss out but didn't derserve to, have every right to be angry when they see others selling for profit something they shouldn't in their opinion have got. If it wasn't for those whos only interest in the print was the profit it would make, there probally would have been enough prints to go around. Flipping is making art to expensive for people who really like it, too many prints are now sitting in tubes and art folders and not enough are on walls.
P.S. this is not a coment on anyone in this thread (I have come into it late and am not making any judgements) but just a general coment on flipping and those who really deserve to own a peice of art.

You might wish to back up your claims then John, I for one don't know of anyone other than Grafik and Phatspider who got a QJG and that was only because they said so on here.
Heresay is a dangerous thing and potentially libalous, you should be aware enough of the law already with this release - best not push your luck again son

Nothing to see here, by naughtyshorty on Feb 6, 2011 2:30:55 GMT 1, well one things for certain, POW and Banksy wont be so generous again. and quite simply, the more people that flip or sell on the queue jumpers, the worse it appears for everyone involved. For what it's worth, my view is that if you take your chance in a queue, without any solid info, then it's a gamble. you might be lucky, but then again, you might not. and it's a simple as that. if you lose, you have no right in the correct queue, doesnt matter who you are, or who's in the queue above you. only my perspective..

Nothing to see here, by Coach on Feb 6, 2011 2:32:06 GMT 1, I do think it is poor form to have bought one in persn, and then complain about not getting one and pick up a QJG as a result of complaining.
If indeed that has happened.
