Nice shout CG. They certainly are not the first to try this and certainly will not be the last. Slightly more obvious than most. I remember being told of a guy on here who tried this with works of art that the owner had not even broached the subject of selling. His name will come back to me. |

She will also want to make a deposit to hold the work so you cannot sell..

I'm guessing this is either from someone without a significant other, or someone with a very unhappy significant other. Believe me, when you get something they don't like (even a tad), the very image of it on a wall is a constant reminder for them to nag you over it.
That said, I definitely find myself having more freedom to spend bigger on art now. Especially if she digs a piece, too.
