The first is the release of a very in-depth documentary about LA2 that covers his career and life from 1982 - 2023 and the other is a collaboration with one of the most popular urban artists in the game today.

For those forum members that have heard the name Angel "LA2" Ortiz, but don't truly understand his place in Urban Art history - there will be a movie coming out this fall that documents in detail his legendary career from the age of 12 painting with Keith Haring in 1980 to present day collaborations with OBEY.
If you like to visit museums you can always see his art in the Louvre (UAE), The Whitney (NYC), MOCA (LA) & MOMA (NYC).

1980 - 2024. One of my favorite pieces is a portrait of his best friend and collaborator Keith Haring.
The masterpiece has a lot of historical symbolism in it - the main colors of orange and black are the official colors of Keith's & LA2's original Graffiti Crew (TNS) - The Non Stoppers. The wings & halo signify that Keith is in Heaven.

I will respectfully disagree with their public opinion that LA2 lacks talent and that his recent paintings are not well executed. I hope met and other critics of LA2 can check out the show at D'Stassi in person and see with their own eyes that LA2 definitely has talent and that his recent works are actually just as good and or better that his older ones.
