The artist LA2 is in London for the opening and it is going to be a legendary show.
The team at D'Stassi has created an artistic paradise that only a legend like
Angel "LA2" Ortiz can fulfill.
I will be at the show and hope to see and meet some amazing forum members.
Shoreditch as always is the perfect backdrop for urban art debachery !

LA II / Angel Ortiz is criminally under-respected by some.
I actually posted a while back a listing for a "Keith Haring" (only) painting at auction that looked 80% LA II, including tags. Not one mention of his name.
Some good, big pieces in your show.

It was so amazing to put some faces to all the names I have been seeing on our forum the past 16 years.
The show was a huge success !
Based on the large amount of visible red dots on the walls and the massive amount of inquiries - the show will
definitely be sold out.
If you have any questions about acquiring an LA2 - please contact the team at D'Stassi Gallery - they are truly amazing and know how to put on some show !!!!!!!
LA2 created 27 brand new paintings exclusively for the show.

It was a genuine thrill to meet so many members of our community.
I was overwhelmed by the support and love that LA2 received while in the UK.

I hadn't seen this post in advance of the show so sadly didn't get chance to meet any forum members on the night which is a shame but maybe next time...
Was well chuffed to get a programme but gutted to not have had the chance to meet the guy in person and get it signed so if anyone has a signed copy they don't want then please DM me...

'Friends' is a collaborative self-portrait by STIK and LA2 (Angel Ortiz) and celebrates a decade of their working friendship. LA2 was the creative partner of Keith Haring and has also featured in the work of Richard Hambleton, Andy Warhol and Jean Michelle Basquiat.
'Friends' is on loan from the artists and is the subject of an upcoming documentary.
A great collaboration with Stik now also at D'Stassi Gallery - STIK makes guest appearance at LA2's London solo exhibition. I would certainly recommend anyone who has not visited yet to go if they get the chance, really is quite something.
The work on display is definitely worth making the effort to visit to see, and The D'Stassi Gallery a great venue.
Nice pub across the road as well.

We are opening the gallery for one on one private walk throughs of a new collection we now have on display at D'Stassi Art (Shoreditch, London). There will be 15 original Angel 'LA2' Ortiz pieces on display in various sizes. The collection is already 65% sold and on hold.
Open for appointments from today (6th March 23)
