'Downtown Manhattan' ( escape from new York )
It's based on a speed paint created on my iPad at JFK airport last November as our trip to new York came to an end.
Mixed media, spray paint and acrylic on deep edged box canvas
It's the biggest canvas I have painted, 5ft x 4ft aprox, 60 x 48inches, barely fit on my studio easel !

'Neon Cities' - It's a totally new series, but with recurring themes of railway tracks, urban landscapes and the effects of lights, neon lights that I have been interested in and painting for a few years now!....
I took inspiration from my commute in and out of London, particularly from Stratford in East London, site of the new Olympic stadium, it's seen a huge amount of development, with a massive shopping center, lights and colour is abundant and very 'Electric' visually. Anyway I hope you like them, more to come!
'The Eastern Lights'
Based on the idea of the Aurora Borealis - It's the east London equivalent, the night sky illuminated by the electric neon colors of the surrounding lights.
