Sorry if I sounded like I was trying to out words in your mouth. No idea was the real rules are. People often run auctions etc esp for charitable causes. I did for a pejac linea print it a while back.

How ironic then that the use of hyperbole causes much of the evil in the world...

Banksy • Barcode Print, by mrizzle on Aug 14, 2017 15:22:50 GMT 1, For Sale - (Unsigned) Banksy 'Barcode' (2003)
2003
Screen print on paper
Unsigned and numbered
50 x 70 cm
Edition of 600 Full Pest Control COA
For sale is my unsigned Banksy 'Barcode' print. I am the original and only owner of this print and have owned it since its release. I bought it with birthday money for my 21st birthday and, though I realise this is a cliche, I am reluctant to be selling it but needs must. In the interest of full transparency, I will not be providing you with any tales of how the money will be used to feed starving orphan children, rather one of my other true passions is cars and I need to sell this in order to replace the somewhat embarrassing (and in no way family friendly) car that I ill advisedly bought with the intention of using for track days.
This for sale post is about a year and a half in the making and thank you to those of you who have provided me with guidance and support throughout this process. As a result of your advice, I held off selling last January while I sought a replacement COA for the one that I lost during my naive university years when I lost the original one! Those same years also told me not to spend the extra money on a signed copy but rather to get drunk on the difference - I regret both that decision and I probably regretted the drinking but I really have no recollection of the night out nor hangover. Stupid hindsight.
Pictures
Below are a selection of photos of my print and the replacement COA. I have quite a number of others that I will upload to a Google Drive folder. I will make these available to any interested parties.

[/font]
Further Info
This print was purchased directly from POW at the time of release. As I stated previously, I am the sole owner of the print. It was professionally framed locally and has never sat in direct sunlight in any of the time that I owned it. I removed it from its frame last January (I think) in order to take initial pictures and, for fear of damaging it, it has been stored flat and in an archival sleeve since. I didn't want to take any risks putting it back again. I would consider it in mint condition - or as close to. There are two tiny little indentations on the very bottom right (I have tried to illustrate these for full disclosure - see pics). These are really very small but it would be wrong not to identify them and picture them.
I have been over the rest of the print and I can find nothing else. The blacks are still truly black, the numbering is clear, not smudged and is not in any way faded. I would say that the same is true of the colouring and stamp. My print does have the desirable red stamp and is slightly more unusual in that fact that it is stamped running vertically as opposed to horizontally. I believe that this features on many of his earlier prints - without giving too much away mine is within the first couple of hundred editions.
Price
I am looking for offers around £14,000. I am not currently interested in any trades I am afraid. I am located in Aberdeen and a face to face transaction would be desirable (for both parties I suggest), however I realise that this is pretty much like being 'beyond the wall' (a reference to the GoT one but also true of Hadrian's one). I am also happy to accept PayPal (buyer to be responsible for fees) or BACS transfer (but appreciate why anyone might not wish to go down this route). References for any prospective buyers should be available on request. The print will be shipped flat and unframed (I am currently awaiting a couple of things to ensure that this is done securely and safely - will update this when they have arrived) but buyer to arrange and pay for desired method of delivery - I would recommend Flight Logistics personally). I can travel but not far due to the nature of my job (I am a teacher) and because I have a young family. I can probably travel up to 2.5 hours any direction but might request a small sum be transferred (to be deducted from final selling price) to ensure that I don't get stood up.
Transactions in person will obviously include COA at the time but it will be sent on following receipt of written confirmation that the buyer has received the print and is happy. This will be sent on special delivery which, of course, I will pay. This is merely for my own security.
I have arrived at my price after considerable research on online sales, galleries and also after helpful guidance from other members who have recently sold their own Barcode. I think that it is accurate and fair. I am aware of it being listed marginally cheaper (at two places) but enquiries revealed these aren't entirely straightforward sales - it would be extremely wrong to say too much but they aren't all for sale and don't all presently have COAs. I know that there are two further galleries listing them with a markup at £16,995 and £20k respectively. How the heck do they come up with these disparities? The mind boggles.
I realise that this is a lot of money and I haven't made many sales on UAA so I have limited references from here. I recently sold some artwork (Russ Mills/Byroglyphics) but they were all snapped up by one very nice buyer (in a very smooth transaction so thank you to that chap)! However, this is a sizeable purchase so I am happy to share further information and access to my Facebook page to potential buyers so that you can see who I am and to provide some assurances. I would hope that that might provide some reassurance off the back of some troubling recent transactions in at least one other thread. My Instagram is public (username mrizzle83) but I don't share too much personal stuff on there due to the nature of my job and because I don't want to put people such as my son on there. I would appreciate discretion not to share anything off my FB page. If I can offer more then please just ask and I will accommodate reasonable requests.
I think I have provided everything I can think of and that I would want to know from a buyer's perspective but please let me know if there is anything that I have missed or should consider/reconsider. I fully appreciate that this is a big investment so want to make it as smooth as possible and provide full transparency from the very offset.
