Standard for a Nick Walker release isn't it?

Nick Walker • TMA New York, by Wearology on Feb 26, 2011 19:37:15 GMT 1, I just got the official report from my mate who is on line at 115 Spring Street (as of 1:30 PM New York Time) - the line is around the block there are several hundred people waiting for the 3:00 EST release of the print. Let the flipping begin. I guess America is catching the Urban Art bug.

Given there are only 100 prints (+APs) on sale, if there are a few hundred people then there's going to be a lot of disappointed punters.

The uk customs 50% import tax are going to have a field day with these.
Will cost you another couple of hundred quid.
If its insured properly that is. Mine field.

There are 18 AP's being offered plus the 100 prints - but the rumor on the que is that the AP's are being offered for $1,500 a piece.

Hat off to the London based flipper for subsidising their NYK sojourn with a quick win.
America isn't catching the urban art bug - get your money for nothing and your chicks.....
Import duty? 50%? Since when?

Nick Walker • TMA New York, by Wearology on Feb 26, 2011 20:39:24 GMT 1, I guess the rationale for doubling the price is 1/18 versus 1/100. I guess the rationale for waiting on line knowing there are more people than prints is telling yourself maybe people came there with friends and only 1 of the group of friends is actually buying one.

Still, there's always the lottery.........

Ta - thought Jboy's assertion was inaccurate. Can't think why he posted this (possible) mis-information....
I also thought the 5% payable was only in respect of originals or at the very least hand finished by the artist. I've got shafted on this before...

I think he's done a few hand-finished specials for the Black Rat Press print shows. 'Ratatouille' is one that springs to mind.
