Banksy • Flower Thrower • Love is in the Air, by Steph Rat Catcher on Feb 17, 2016 19:34:12 GMT 1, Trouble is she seems to be a bit ageist to me, speaking from a middle aged perspective. I do agree with her point regarding lady gardens though. Sad young git..if you prefer I didn't advertise the print after it was sold...I just think PB seems to be making a post-modern, self-reflexive dog's dinner out of the whole affair!? and I thank you Kaos for your words of sense...i know there is nothing some people like more than an old-fashioned flame war...but I am not one of them...I have better things to do...in my opinion...maybe equally as sad...but my version... I actually like to make art!? shock horror...and I will now use this platform for a bit of shameless self-promotion and send you a link to one of my recent short films...those of faint heart or nervous disposition should avoid eg PB posterbob don't go to bristol x

Banksy • Flower Thrower • Love is in the Air, by Deleted on Feb 17, 2016 22:22:52 GMT 1, They did not refund me, Paypal did. This happened after I called them and they reviewed the links and said, yes, something is wrong; you don't go and sell an unique item on a different website two days after it has already been paid for. Actually, here's the last email the c**t sent me stating outright that she intended to try and keep the money after all of the lies: "If you place an order and pay a deposit, you have made a legally binding contract to purchase the goods, if you then change your mind you have broken the contract and must forfeit your deposit. Initially, I was inclined towards refunding this but since your rude and unnecessary tantrums I no longer feel able to do so."
Out of interest what website was the print advertised on when you brought it?

If I were you I'd just hold off the sale of the piece until you get the COA. I'm sure then you will have no problems finding a nice home for it.
Posterbob isn't exactly one of the more 'liked' members around here and would of only been buying it to resale anyway.
Looks like you done well well for your night of babysitting!

Watch your inbox overflow with offers DJParasite, now that you've posted that pic. Why didn't you post real photos to start with?
How far are you into the COA application? You know it can take forever, right, which is why people would be suspicious of your money back offer? I myself have been waiting for a COA on a far simpler (ie more recent and less bootlegged) print for 8 months now.

We're selling it cos we need the money...otherwise we wouldn't we've held onto it this long...yeah...not a bad night's work I think it was for a couple of nights...not just one! It was so long ago the council and irate house owners were moaning about the existence of Banksy 'defacement'! on their walls...there was one on a wall round the corner from where we live they knocked down..lol..we have a photo of it...it wasn't that long ago really! We offered the money back thing cos we KNOW it's real...didn't know there was an authentication process until we tried to sell it...don't generally sell art..!? certainly not for that kind of price...don't really understand why there isn't some kind of 'on-line' list tho...that way it wouldn't be an issue...? It would mean there was no associated cost either...guess there must be a reason..?
PS not sure why you think they were stock photos stillborncrisps..they weren't...? PPS old git...young git...if the cap fits Wilson...

I've only ever sold three Banksy prints, one at auction and the other two via brokers, none of which were advertised in sale threads here. The correct phrase is "would have." Take a second to lift yourself out of the gutter and speak properly.

I myself have been waiting for a COA on a far simpler (ie more recent and less bootlegged) print for 8 months now. PC have been in touch asking for more close-up photos, especially of the edition number..which I've done. So just waiting to hear back from them...
8 months is a longtime to wait!!! :-(
It makes sense to sell it now as we can put the new owner's name on the CoA and they don't have to wait another 10 years to register a change of ownership...! Not really sure why such susppicion about the guarantee...it's a pretty public place to say it... quite a few witnesses...
Ultimately though, you know who we are...we've been quite open about it...not the act of a scammer. The whole COA thing t seems like a bit of a money spinner, especially considering Banksy's politics, as I said before; what's wrong with an on-line list, can always be members only etc. but would put an end to this ridiculous wait and save the £50+ every time it is sold!?

You said you don't mingle in these circles, so take some advice frim people who do, and wait for your COA. A buyer will be more worried about it being the real deal, rather than how long it takes to get their name on the COA.

If pest control have been in touch already that's a good thing. Aslong as the photos you sent them cover everything and are clear they will either authenticate it and ask you to send payment for a COA or they may want more details/ask you to take the print to them for them to look at.
just hold tight and get your COA before you sale. It's in your best interests to do so not worth the hassle trying to sale without it

No it's free to change ownership.
You just pay for the COA, then when you sale the print give the COA to the buyer with the print.
Then the buyer will email pestcontrol to say they are the new owner, pest control will then email you to confirm you sold it to the said buyer once you confirm job done
