Agree, nothing wrong with Habitat frames, in fact when I took mine in to my framer to have the spacers and backing fitted she commented on how well made they were and that the glass had polished edges, something you don't even get with my framers bespoke frames.

That doesn't surprise me - the finish of the Habitat frames is definitely better than a lot of custom built frames I've seen. They could benefit from non-reflective UV glass, but at those prices you can't really complain.

Had off day from work today as worked weekend. I wanted to make sure print had arrived ok so picked tube up from post office about 7:30 am. Home for breakfast before quick trip into town to find some frames and mounts. As a few people have said here quality of Habitat frames good although not acid free, I'll have to sort this out in the future. Home scalpel out and with bit of a patience cut mounts to fit prints and in frame by about 11:00 am. Got both framed for less than my Mantis cost me to get done professionally.
Hope I have done print Justice, fabulous print and Rippers a great guy. I see Ripper is planning another print, look forward to see what he has chosen. There is one image I would love to see as a print but I wont tempt fate by saying what I would like to see!!!
What are other people planning for their framing?

It's far better than I had hoped, in fact it's pretty bloody awesome. This means I'm going to have to shell out some more cash to the ever smiling Richard at my local gallery and get it framed. Does anyone need their car washing, shoes polishing, ironing doing...?

Eeeerm no definately not. This isn't Richard is it??? ;D Actually, they are a bit pricey. Malcolm, who does the framing for them does seem to know his stuff, so although it's a temptation to go elsewhere I think I'll stick to the tried and tested.

But they always do a good job.

I agree. Don't know if you saw the frame that Thwaites posted earlier in the week, but it was a classic black ornate frame which would be perfect for a Red Crucipod. Intend to try and get one next weekend.
