i got mine back in january for ยฃ2.2k, it was cash though. on ebay at that time they were going for around ยฃ2.5k ish. i thought then they were underpriced a little, that's what convinced me to take the plunge. i'm surprised they seem to have gone up so much so soon but then it's been silly season for signed all year. if a sepia morons is going for ยฃ2.75k - ยฃ3k then i think the reaper is worth a bit more.
so long as they're worth over what i paid, or the same even, then i will be well happy. in a few years, the two grand paid won't feel such a big deal either. to me: priceless.

Banksy Grin Reaper Print, by weeble on Apr 26, 2007 22:29:08 GMT 1, i tried to bid on that reaper!! i was gonna bid up to 4K, i was watching it all day whilst at work, then 8 mins to go.... a client phones me up and wont get off the phone and i missed the whole damn thing!! lol. went for ยฃ3.5K, which does annoy me. but, the intersting thing is... if i had been there to bid up o ยฃ4k - who's to say I still wouldn't have won it? the bidder may have been willing to pay ยฃ5k!!!?!
my point is, all is not what it seems. cheap reaper? or just a case of right place, right time?
ps. I've had an offer of a signed reaper for 4.5K, which regrettably I'm toying with the idea of buying. but if anyone wants to sell me a signed reaper for 3.8K then the money is yours.....

And gorgeous as well. If you have the desire and the means, I say go for it. You will not be disappointed. LW helped encourage me to buy one, and I owe him for it. For the money, there's nothing else I'd rather see on the walls. Its fun to look at, fun to talk about with others, and flat out fun to own---a very special piece of the most unique and interesting story in art/culture to come around for a very long time.
Let me know when you get it. I'd love to see pics of how you frame it up!

good lad, yet another sucker well and truly corrupted. before i got mine i used to help old ladies cross the road, do a lot of community work and help under-priviliged kids. now i spend my whole existence trying to demonise people to bankrupt themselves whilst simultaneously indulging in promoting the dark arts and the spirits within them. nnnyyyeee hhheeee hhhaaaa hhhaaa!! ;D
