described as - Edition of 50 This image was used for the box lid of the 'Serpentine Gallery Portfolio' for ยฃ1250.
Its always been one of my favourite prints and for the price if its official it would be a steal. When i messaged the gallery asking if this was official Banksy work and did it have COA owner replied saying "Grin Reaper is an unsigned Official Edition of 50 print on a box." No COA but once he has one it will be more.
I messaged pestcontrol to see if they knew of it as being official, they replied first saying they didnt know anything about it, i sent them more details and they replied saying "Thank you for providing us with further details. This work would need to be submitted online and brought in to look at in person before we could comment any further."
I wish i had the money to take a punt, but my gf would take my balls. Anyone know anymore about this piece though? Did Banksy really make the box for the portfolio? Or is it just something the gallery had printed themselves? Im very curious.

The box did contain a signed Banksy print, but how much is the lid worth by itself? About ยฃ2 at a guess. And he's trying to get ยฃ1250 for it.
The guy is also selling ยฃ20 record sleeves for ยฃ200.
So I really wouldn't recommend giving him your money.
