Though of that but I've got nowhere safe to do it in my house, two little kids would destroy it. May give it a go though.

Could have asked for more but probably still be trying to sell it in 3 weeks time having answered about 100 emails.
The burn marks it makes a difference compared to a mint one.
What I found interesting was how the gallery buyers offer the lowest by a long way, I'd go as far as saying piss takers.
One bellend I won't name and shame even told me that Banksy prices were falling as his popularity is decreasing.๐
Hopefully it will end up Ina good home on a wall where it should be.
Aki

Ha, what a bellnd that gallery must be! Hang on a sec...if they could sell your print for lots and would have no trouble, surely they would have offered you what you wanted. But if they see prices falling (like we all have been, whether we choose to ignore it or not) then does it not make sense that they protect themselves and offer an amount they can be sure to make a margin on?

Doesn't take you long to pick a fight does it? If they could have sold my print for lots they would have got lots of commission several grand not a bad days work.
Offering thousands under my lowest prices was cheeky at best. They're like vultures trying to take advantage of people.
Have a great day arguing with everyone.

It's not an argument. It's a statement and a question. It's annoyed you because you don't accept what's written. But you can discuss it and not be so defensive.
I understand how galleries work. But also understand they need to make money.

I suspect that people get defensive due to your rather aggressive style of writing posts. I actually tend to agree with a lot of what you say, and I find the incessant hyping of prices on here really quite distasteful. Others might agree with you too if some of your posts were more measured.

Unfortunately when these opinions come across as aggressive and to a degree bitter all it serves to do is weaken the poster's point. It also appears to me that this same old argument only creeps up on the Banksy sales which don't get snapped up immediately. In the spirit of fairness we should also aim to hijack and ruin the successful Banksy sales threads too.

Expressobeans used to be good for this kind of thing, but no one adds high end auction sales to the database (maybe someone should start!?)

Banksy Grin Reaper Print, by ctc2 on Jun 25, 2018 3:30:35 GMT 1, I have a Grin Reaper that I bought directly from POW back before they sold out. Finally got around to seeking Pest Control Authentication. They responded that mine was "untrimmed" and that was "quite uncommon". I am assuming that most were trimmed so that there was no paper outside of the black border? Is that correct? Can anyone shed some light on this?

I am assuming that most were trimmed so that there was no paper outside of the black border? Is that correct? Can anyone shed some light on this? Correct, most of the regular Grin Reaper edition were trimmed so that there was no paper outside of the black border. So I guess this makes your (untrimmed) Grin Reaper a bit more special/uncommon.
The version of Grin Reaper that Woof posted is a very rare AP metallic version.
I have seen one "untrimmed" Grin Reaper before at Phillips auction:
This example also has the POW stamp and signature all on the bottom right.
The POW stamp is even outside off the black border.
Usually the stamp should be on the bottom left and signature on the bottom right, within the black border.

That is exactly how mine is. Never thought anything about it until they raised it. They asked that I measure the paper which is going to require me to take it out of the frame. I guess I will get it to the framers at some point and let them dismantle it. Like I said, I am the original purchaser. Framed it shortly after I got it.
