I'd love to see a complete list of sales over the last few years. Expressobeans used to be good for this kind of thing, but no one adds high end auction sales to the database (maybe someone should start!?)

They responded that mine was "untrimmed" and that was "quite uncommon". I am assuming that most were trimmed so that there was no paper outside of the black border? Is that correct?

That is exactly how mine is. Never thought anything about it until they raised it. They asked that I measure the paper which is going to require me to take it out of the frame. I guess I will get it to the framers at some point and let them dismantle it. Like I said, I am the original purchaser. Framed it shortly after I got it.

The POW stamp is even outside off the black border.
Usually the stamp should be on the bottom left and signature on the bottom right, within the black border.
That is exactly how mine is. Never thought anything about it until they raised it. They asked that I measure the paper which is going to require me to take it out of the frame. I guess I will get it to the framers at some point and let them dismantle it. Like I said, I am the original purchaser. Framed it shortly after I got it.
