The £50 Art Thread, by Feral Things on Feb 24, 2016 22:38:01 GMT 1, Roadsworth has released a new screenprint called 'Zipper'. It's an edition of 50 on acid-free 100lbs archival paper, measuring 18″ x 24″ and signed and numbered by the artist. It's 114.98$ CAD (so just a shade over £50) and is available from Artgang Montreal. I'm a big fan of Roadsworth's street work and the below trailer for his 'Crossing The Line' documentary is well worth a watch if you're not familiar with this work:

I am doing an edition of ten of each color on heavy artists paper. Each one based on original pencil drawn art, cut as a stencil. With freehand airbrush and paint brush, hand painted eyes and mouth.
Medium : Acrylic paint including flourescent and pearl and gold paint with gold metal flake on top.
Global edition of Ten Yellow and Ten Pink on Heavy paper.
I am listing them as I finish them and if anyone wants one or to reserve one. Let me know by PM.

The colour bit won't be that easy to reproduce as a screen. My next screen print should be the flock installer one. I've done 2 layers on one colourway but need to go back and do some other colours and finish them. I was contemplating finishing with glitter but undecided.
mutatis, I don't know what you mean. What artists would draw inspiration form a photo :-)

Today I was looking on his website and I noticed a picture of a Viking/elk/dala horse holding a Cornish flag shield and talking about a Pasty.
Since my brief was to create something for my half Cornish half swedish daughters using stereotypical elements from each culture - I can only assume this is one of mine!
Very Pleased with the results - good fun little commission.
And saw this on his IG:

I don't know what price items will sell for as they are being auctioned on ebay at present. Under the name of Drawing Dave. I have nothing to do with the event other than submitting a David Bowie painting (I am not an artist, just something I did for some fun). Feel free to check out the auction though, as I am sure some of it fits into the Urban Art category (I like some of the pieces).
The listings on Ebay say collection only from Birmingham but the organiser (Dan Genders) has stated in an email to people that if people enquire about postage then he will arrange at the buyers cost. Thanks
