The £50 Art Thread, by holden on Oct 30, 2007 10:01:59 GMT 1, Further to previous postings received Julianna Swaney Starlings print (very well packaged) and love it, a snip at <$20 US inc postage from Little Paper Planes
and Anthony Listers Spiderman Giclee print, also flat packed and well delivered from StupidKrap (they have all gone, but there are other Aussie artists on board worth checking out)
Ta again for the Julianna tip

If you're like us and can't afford an original Van Gogh portrait then this is the next best thing!
"Van Gah" is a two colour screen print with a "hello my name is..." sticker. Edition of 25 prints, for £20.

This is my first post on the £50- thread, so go gentle with me (I am sure I will get negged as I have already broken the ceiling price), but personally think this print is worth it.
From Electrik Sheep ( www.electriksheep.co.uk/ ) by an artist called prefab - 'Tide of S**t Lapping' - Approx 36x71cm, 4 colour screenprint & a signed limited edition of 50 - £60 (some prints are £50- BTW).
Anyway, ordered on Friday - arrived Moday so haven't had framed yet, but thought I would post it up and see what you guys think.
Look forward to your comments - sorry if it has already been posted.

Yes it's on poster stock and seemingly unlimited but he work in my humble opinon is fantastic. The book's cheap too (there is a limited cloth edition but $100) www.glbarr.com/

Mark B (aka hovering object) was a really nice guy to deal with, very friendly and helpful. Seemed genuinely pleased that I liked his stuff.
