The £50 Art Thread, by simongoff on Apr 21, 2008 22:15:31 GMT 1, ****COMPETITION TO WIN A £100 CANVAS FOR FREE BY AGENT PROVOCATEUR**** Good afternoon I just thought I'd post a little message in this thread as I am going to be holding a little competition this Wednesday 'am' (GMT), but don't worry about getting up early as I wont be ;D If you noticed I have posted two threads in the 'new artists section', the first was 'Happy Easter... with an irreverent twist!' and the second 'NEW art by Agent Provocateur...'. The main reason for these were to show my art for the first time and get lots of feedback and comments ;D. Since then, and much to my surprise I have sold several of the pieces. My plan for Wednesday 'am' is to give a bit back ... I will post a new thread in the 'new artists section' with a (possibly simple) question... and the first person to PM me on here with the correct answer will win a fabulous prize, namely one of my new pieces of work Now I know this is the £50 thread, and the piece of work in question is £100 (see images below), but as it will be free (with free P&P to the UK and £10 P&P to the EU and US) I thought I was allowed . Have a look at the images... and if you're interested in entering keep an eye out for a new thread by 'Agent Provocateur' this Wednesday. 'Lip service' canvas (no.1 of 3) 457mm x 355mm A more detailed view. The simple explanation about the piece is: 'To be seen to be 'green' and environmentally 'right on' is very fashionable at the moment... but is your dedication only skin deep?' If you'd like to have a look at some more of my work (including the 'Lip service' piece) you can go along to www.aprovocateur.co.uk. Thanks for taking the time to read this, as ever, loooong message. Till Wednesday... AP ps oh, and I should probably put in the message (for legal reasons ;D) 'The judges decision is final!' ... that's me by the way.

The £50 Art Thread, by dinomaa on Apr 22, 2008 23:11:23 GMT 1, Here's a few photos of our new screen print from Sztuka Fabryka. If you haven't heard of him before there are quite a few great images on his flickr site. www.flickr.com/photos/sztuka_fabryka/sets/72157594221328618/When Sztuka contacted us about doing a screen print we knew we had to start with this image Here's the screen print we produced with him. It's printed on brown 300gsm printmaking paper and we're pretty proud of the result. These prints are £50 and available from www.littleartbook.com
Shame the print does not come upto the standard of the original or I would have snapped one up - 65 pound? or 50?

The £50 Art Thread, by Little Art Book on Apr 23, 2008 18:20:25 GMT 1, RE: The Sztuka Fabryka print
Sorry about the confusion, these prints were originally £50, but were increased to £65. This is entirely my mistake. If you want one of them for £50 PM me and I will organise.
Here are some of our prints for £50 or less....
Inkfetish: Slow & Steady - £40
Oh Death: Vamp - £50
Oh Death: Relax - £50
The Krah: Untitled - £50
Paintshop Studio: Yorik - £50
Pure Evil: PinUP - £45

The £50 Art Thread, by kj on Apr 23, 2008 18:40:06 GMT 1, Tempting. I'm surprised it's not sold out yet. TS releases usually sell out fairly quickly. It's $10 more than usual but it's bigger than most of the prints apart from the seasonal collections. Which reminds me, I really need to get the Keyes one...
