Wow this is fantastic, congratulations  I know a lot of people on here will be green with envy on this one.

Happy, I think many would agree with your sentiments about it being too distracting and many prefer to float an image and let it dictate the impact. No right/wrong but personally, as I get older I enjoy taking a bit of a gamble when choosing a frame as that's part of the fun at this point. As the collection grows that process becomes a bit of the tale. Certainly not for all, but what is?

Hi first post on here.
When you do an edition of say 100 you will print around 130 sheets depending on the print to account for errors whilst printing. Once you've done then you pick out the 100 for the main edition, then however many ap's and pp's have been agreed come out of the rest.
Sometimes you will pull out an allocation of ap's at different points whilst printing to switch the inks etc. so you get the variations.
The actual initial proofs rarely see the light of day once they've been approved compared to the ap's made during the run. At least in my experience that is.
