Whats with the Brut aftershave display and your username? I'm old enough to remember the old Henry Cooper Brut 33 adverts before the product got seriously un-cool. ;D

I would hold one in conjuction with the Micallef show in LA, but...
1) I only have 11 Banksys - not much of an exhibition 2) My apartment is only 930 square feet. Can't fit too many drunken forum members in there

You either are very clued up or spend a lot of time on ebay. I'm annoyed that I spent a year in London and viewed Banksy's street pieces without knowing who he was until 2years later when I well and truly missed the boat.

Funny how all the Applauses seem to have similar frame jobs.

Whoops, I didn't mean to rub it it! I meant I had 'only' 11 Banksys, as compared to brut who has like 1,001. He'd be the right person to hold the exhibition type thingy, not me!
As for my prints, I got them at the LA show and off eBay last year before the prices went even crazier, so I guess even though they weren't exactly cheap, I got lucky. My last Banksy off the secondary market was Bomb Hugger, which I bought at the beginning of this year... and I haven't bought anything since 'cos I'm still recovering from that one
Sorry for the misunderstanding, though

Show everyone your latest Art Purchase?, by brut on Aug 29, 2007 8:10:05 GMT 1, HI Agent B. I started collecting my banksy prints at santas ghetto in 2003 where i purchased churchill for ยฃ35 then in 2004 at the ghetto where i paid ยฃ50 for the bombhugger print. The most expensive banksy print i have purchased was police kids & that cost ยฃ150 from pow as it is the signed edition. The rest were purchased at cost from pow/santas ghetto(flags). The only print that was not purchased from pow was applause as i traded my gangsta rat for it with a forum member. I know that the gangsta rat print is more sought after but i loved the applause print so i took the decision to trade a print that cost me ยฃ75 for one that cost ยฃ300 & i am very pleased i did so. My collection of prints have been built up over 4 years & i have never bought big money stuff. The dearest print i have purchased is the logan hicks sunset print from BRP. I always stay away from the next big thing unless i like it,that is why i did not buy any of Dan Baldwins & Guy Dennings stuff, (down to personal taste). You can NEVER go wrong if you buy what you like other than what is now.
