It has been a very long time since I was willing to add an edition on wood from Obey.
This is a silkscreen on wood from an edition of 6.
A little word about my mindset on collecting art; last year I was so disappointed when missing the releases I really liked:
*Hirst: "The Virtues", was short on cash and was afraid quality would not be "good enough"(I was proved wrong)
*Hirst: "The Currency", applied but not selected.
*Shepard Fairey, missed all releases I liked on his website with new system.
Then, happy times came back with Invader's last print (single entry & got selected).
Just to say, even if sometimes art collecting is not working as expected, things may change & get better! Keep the faith!

The mustard colored one was 5100 euros. The commission Iโm doing is a bit smaller and horizontal, and that is going to be 3500 euros. He has some really wonderful work on his IG pageโฆand some smaller pieces that arenโt close to that in price, much cheaper.

Ordered frame came in with broken glass and some marks. Decided to paint the frame and spacer bar myself, never did something like that, first time using acrylic paint. Bought some packs/random packs of stickers from D*Face and tried to build some "stories". Float mounted each sticker. Broke the glass again when i put all together (didnโt help that it was 4am and i was a tiny bit drunk). Brought it to my framer for new glass, luckily the restorer was also there and finished the acrylic paint with some protection.
Anyway, thought i would share, even if itโs just a DIY, hope somebody enjoys it.
Please excuse the reflection.
