Have wanted this piece for quite a while and it's a hard one to track down. Also it's already framed nicely and although it may increase the shipping fee it still will be less than framing costs. With the economy down, it's a good time to buy.

I don't think I've seen a BAST from the 1990s. I'd appreciate any insight about this image and or early BASTs.

The frame is actually a very deep brown wood but can look almost black in certain lights so Iโve added the second photo to give a better idea of the frame colour. As ever, Garyโs advice was key and Iโve him to thank for identifying this frame which draws out and complements the brown tones in the piece itself. Iโm delighted with it.
