Thanks! Yes they’re both by Katherine Bradford. I’ve got a handful of her pieces now and I find her works very enchanting.

Yes, it is. Screenprinted in 1971 in 10 different colorways. 

They're a great size too. Quite hard to photograph, but the colours look amazing in real life. Think it's an underrated image. 

I had this delivered by Mister Frame Man this week. I got it for a bargain price on eBay and the colours are fantastic! This has always been one of my favourite Harrington images. Another great framing job and one less wall to put art on…

Finally got my hands on a signed A*CE Print (this photo was from before he signed and stamped it) - this was actually destined for the street so has some waves and crinkles… which makes me love it even more.

Been a big fan of seeing his whatepaste work throughout the years in Ldn.- I know some people say he bites Bast, Rae, Dain, Faile etc. but I really love his stuff! This will be getting framed soon.

I honestly remember loving his stuff and his style early days. I was going to go through some old folders to find some of my old images to show the Mrs what I’m going on about!

One Thousand Years..

One off first edition copy of his book burnt into the prolife of his hero Marcel Duchamp. Duchamp has been credited with being the father of modern art ever since his urinal work, The Fountain. Interestingly, some believe he stole the credit for the work. Duchamp claimed that he obtained the urinal from J.L. Mott Iron Works, when the company never made or sold that particular model. The plumbing shop was in Philadelphia, a city Duchamp never visited. The handwriting scrawled on the urinal allegedly belonged to Elsa Von Freytag-Loringhoven, a German Dada artist and in a letter Duchamp wrote to his sister he said a female friend, using the pseudonym Richard Mutt, had submitted the urinal to the exhibition that rejected it. I suspect art history wont be re-written.
