Every print I have, except one, has a border around it. It keeps the image off the glass (important) and it just looks better.

The micallef is great when you see it, but looks a little naff in the picture. I used a simple off white border. Easily my fav print that I own. I need to get an Applause and JD framed next week. Looks like ill have to sell my ass.
