Seriously though, nice frame job on the Turin Scam, any idea who did the art? ;D

how old's "vintage" I'm guessing 40+ years?

Furniture should never be placed directly in front of a radiator. It should ideally be at least two feet from any heat source. I know 'cos I read this daily. www.bafra.org.uk/html_pages/articles_environmentalcontrol.html

I think my living room needs a thread on it's own ;D

I really liked the way the grey of the suede matched the tone on the print.

Show everyone your latest Art Purchase?, by AJ on Apr 27, 2007 16:37:39 GMT 1, £250 all in but well worth it to have it up and safely under glass
I could have paid a lot more, but as I've said before, the guidance on this forum helped me to decide what I wanted before I went in. The frame is an off silver as I thought it matched the background of the print a little.
Thanks for your comments!

Jam - the ghetto ghosts look great, how you gonna frame them? all together? I get my one off ghetto ghost back from the framers on monday...its in a white box frame and i bit the bullet and went for the non reflective museum glass, pricey but the framer reckons it will be as if there is no glass there! cant wait

Yeah sometimes its worth spending a lot on the frame, it really makes all the difference! Some of my frames were double the price of the print....i questioned my sanity at the time, but the results proved it was worth it

For more expensive prints, you should consider museum glass. Costly, but it has both anti-reflective and anti-UV light properties.
The suede-effect mount looks good, but that material can't be of conservation standards, can it?

I am going to do them separate, we want them to go along our hallway. We are thinking a thin black frame for each floated on a cream mat... but I am not sold on the idea yet. We are going to pick up some frame and mat samples tomorrow to see how things look. Post a pic when you get yours done... I would like to see the white frame!
