He's pretty well known in photography circles but I thought a lot of people on the forum might not have come across him before.
He graduated in 1956 from the University of Tokyo and enjoyed, at best, moderate success with his commercial and artistic work. Then in 1976 his wife left him and his work very quickly became significantly more brooding and sorrowful. He obsessively photographed ravens in his home town and this body of work, which is known over here as 'The Solitude of Ravens', became by far his finest work. However, before he received any acclaim for this work he fell down a flight of stairs and into a come from which he never recovered.

As always with degree shows there was a fair amount of pretentious crap and pointless angst, but there were a few artists' work which caught my eye.

If anyone goes to the Royal College of Art's Degree Show in a couple of weeks I'd love to see some pictures of Lucas Price's work.
