I am almost finished with this and have started a The Who 'Quad' with the full band standing behind a scooter.

I love these two. Very creative and innovative. They are doing a lot of tough to pull off pieces. Almost exclusively art that they have no hope of making money doing. I really admire that.
They did a forward looking retrospective at the AGO www.lifeofacraphead.com/retrospective.html where they included projects that they "will do " in the future.

Artists You Might Not Know, by mmmike on Feb 18, 2014 20:48:03 GMT 1, One of My favorite Life of a Crap Head pieces was this "There is a better one in the shed". It reminds me of collectors (like me) who sore a way things in mint condition and put up stuff that might not be as nice.
"We created two purple things with the restriction that when the bumpy one is shown the smooth one is kept in a shed nearby."

Musical Road (2007)
"We heard about an airplane runway in Disney World that plays 'Zippity-Doo-Dah' through rumble strips when planes land on it. We wanted to make our own outside of the Future Shop on Yonge St. The Musical Road was destroyed in 2010 when that part of the street was repaired."

We wanted to make our own outside of the Future Shop on Yonge St. The Musical Road was destroyed in 2010 when that part of the street was repaired." Some context on this one. Yonge Street is the longest street in Canada and this is the busiest section of the street, just north of maybe the busiest intersection in the country. The two of them, rented the cutters, a truck and dressed up as road workers. The clothes they had were several sizes too big So when you see other pics they look like kids playing dress up. They went out in the middle of the day, put up pylons to divert traffic and started cutting up the street. I'm shocked no one questioned them and how easily they got away with it.
They had no chance to make any money off of this, they didn't sell anything, they could have been arrested. To me this is real, original, good street art. They don't put out prints or have any strategy to make money but they do these stunts, performance pieces and what ever inspires them because they are artists. I think we need more artists like this. I know they won't get much love here because they don't do prints, never mind prints that copy Banksy but they are crazy good if you ask me.

I haven't seen any videos. I did see some pics of them in process at an artist talk. I asked how they figured out the spacing etc. to get the sound right. She said they just sort of went and did it and it didn't end up sounding like anything in particular. I'd guess they would have had to do a long stretch to make a full song.
