Best prints of 2010, by jamo on Dec 15, 2010 16:03:20 GMT 1, Thanks, it's float mounted on board by Bramley's. They do a lot of Black Rat and Stolen Space stuff. Frames are handmade from real wood (!), sanded, primed, painted. Just like the old days. I love picking up stuff from there as I always have a nosey at what's in being framed. Last week they had a giant DFACE 'Bionic' (Christine Aguilera) being done.....
Slipped them a tenner and they're going to let me know when they get a 'Choose Your Weapon' in - I'm allowed to break in and nick it.

Nice, it looks great. I haven't framed mine yet but I am thinking in float mount it too.
Regarding Bionic you mean the Poster that came with the vinyl or a different thing?

This print I love. As soon as i unrolled it it, is unlike any other tube i got this year. seems more like an original than anything. i also think like all good art, it was a provocateur (sp? meaning? ) of change....a commentary on the fact so many americans includin the artist did not have health care. now that has changed! for those reasons i would pick it as print of the year........... if only the latest release was as easy to snag.........

Although if I had to pick something from this thread, it would be the Supine.

Best prints of 2010, by Deleted on Dec 19, 2010 20:18:36 GMT 1, The swoon release attracted lots if attention - some of it down to price yet they've all sold which to my mind makes a great release from gallery / artist / subscribers perspective. If I had the budget I'd have one now.
I can't rationalise how this hasn't been a good year? There's been some great art introduced to the market - if this year hasn't been strong, in what way was 2009??

On many levels.
So glad it came from POW - kinda reminds us how good and brave they can be.

Best prints of 2010, by pezlow on Dec 21, 2010 10:36:33 GMT 1, There's been a few good ones this year, although I can never remember whether they were this year or last year. I really like the print Dalek released with Studio Cromie. I also liked Faile Ecstasy a lot (was that this year?) and I think Dran Exhibit has something about it as well.

Best prints of 2010, by whl10 on Dec 22, 2010 19:20:42 GMT 1, some real crackers in this thread. hard to choose best print unless i have seen it in the flesh, so i am going to vote for eelus-firestarter. best print i have bought this year (that has made it to my door, waiting on my dran ). so much better in person (as with any print) than on the computer screen.
and, no, i am not trying to hype a print i own. my firestarter is framed on my wall and i love it! think there are 3 left at brooklynite for those interested, i see that eelus is popular in this thread.
wish i had scored a not everything is so black and white, but as another poster mentioned i am waiting for it to go down in price a bit and pounce. the recent drans have all looked nice, i am awaiting an exhibit here in the states. the sweet toof diamond geezers at top of this page is a print i hadnt seen that i now want! also, not sure on date, but the pow invader prints look of high quality and i hope to track one of those down as well.
best bang for your buck (pound or euro) has to be the miss buggs snubnose!

Best prints of 2010, by pcant on Dec 22, 2010 22:08:51 GMT 1, Not sure if I can nominate more than one, but I'd like to amend my earlier vote for Eelus' "Not Everything..." I just picked up the U.S. Hush release (If I was Today) and that print is amazing. So many layers, hand-finishing, varnish, etc... It's really astounding to look at up close, and I can't believe they were still available (White Walls in San Francisco has them if anyone's interested). It's at the framers now, I'll post pics once I get it back.

Best prints of 2010, by darren433 on Dec 30, 2010 18:56:38 GMT 1, I agree that the recent Swoon release through Paper Monster is the clear winner, though each piece is so different and unique that it is a bit of stretch to call it a print.
I also agree that Miss Bugs (and Missum) had some great prints this year, but they are inevitably overshadowed by the incredible Miss Bugs originals we saw over the last 12 months.
Harland Miller also released some amazing (but very expensive) prints this year.
