in nice big editions ..on a system which holds up..and keep the prices down..yeah that'll do nicely

Release all 3 at the same time!
With the 1 per customer limit, that would be interesting.

When is next Banksy Print due out?, by Strange Al on Jun 6, 2007 19:05:17 GMT 1, Like the rest of you, I'm keen for POW to release the remaining LA Banksy prints and as soon as possible. My anticipation for the new prints has definitely turned into boredom.
Though from a business perspective there's little incentive for POW to release the prints quickly. In fact, I can think of ample reasons for delaying and staggering the releases. Aside from the Banksy hype and guaranteeing traffic to the website, by staggering the releases POW are ensuring their cash flow throughout the year, which should keep both the accountants and the bank manager happy. Plus POW are spreading the screenprinting work and admin, which has to make it a lot more manageable for Ben, Dora and the rest of the crew. Particularly, given the amount of enquiries and print returns that they now get on a Banksy release.

the longer the wait is, the bigger the queue is, as this forum proves by growing everyday...

So who noticed the change on POW today?
After probably the most boring meeting of my life which lead me to question my already questionable career path and running out of battery on my pc about 2 pm I thought sods law the 3pm release would happen so I checked when I got back tonight and the first banksy page had changed! Banksy certainly gives away enough art and don't forget that the money he earns "indoors" funds his freedom to create "outdoors". He's an artist, and at the end of the day there's nothing wrong with him earning a few bucks for his talent, getting a lift in a hot ride, and paying his bills.

I gather POW wanted to increase the prices of the last release but Banksy wanted to keep them at a level most fans could afford. All this talk by everyone of how the prices should go up is a bit like turkeys voting for christmas.

Not completely sure, but it might help. I know they want to "keep it real" with low prices but the disparity is almost silly at this point. Donate the extra cash to charity if they want to keep it real.
To predict all "baggers" personal circumstances thinking they wouldn't be able to afford ยฃ2k a print is ridiculus! I'd imagine they've created themselves a nice little gravy train from Banksy.
A new 2k print (or anything over ยฃ650 actually) will price me straight out of the equasion.
