I think you hit the nail on the head. Most people seem lukewarm on these prints but will still look to get them anyway because they are banksys.
I must admit, although I love his stuff, I haven't seen a Banksy print that I would hang on my wall since LIITA. I live in hope though.....
On the subject of the LA Prints, I can't understand what has taken so long. These are really old images by now and I seem to remember people talking about the same subject pre Christmas 2006

Last of the LA Prints?, by chas on Dec 30, 2007 12:24:20 GMT 1, Given that it's fairly easy to find the holding web pages for them, I think it's safe to say that the remaining prints of both Festival and Sale Ends will be released through POW, ie. 150 signed, plus what's left of the 500 unsigned (about 400). Sale Ends might be seen by many as a metaphor for Banksy's final screenprint release, but if he does decide to stop I'd be surprised to see him end with something so mundane and non-"classic" Banksy, especially now we know he's still producing new prints with the Stop & Search release. Incidentally Silky, I notice you haven't yet added S&S to the Limited Edition Prints board! 
As some one with Limited computer knowledge how do you find holding (backgroud) pages?
I would prefer that both prints are released at the same time giving us more of a chance to get one! never going to happen though!
