New print release, by stuey09 on Nov 22, 2007 20:19:34 GMT 1, I like them a lot, BUT I'm being very strict with my choices now that wall space has almost been filled and I'm not one for collecting just to put into art portfolios, I'd prefer to see the rest of the Tarot Card series.
I'm in the same boat as you CBL. Where the fuck is the next Tarot Card. This was supposed to be a set and Death has therefore been bought with this in mind. It looks a fair print on its own, but really needs the others.

Totally agree, Has there been any talk of the next Tarots?

Yes there has. To be fair to Jon and Chris they have tried to keep me in the picture, everytime I have asked, but it's still no closer to being released.

Peter Blakes fag packets didn't say anything, these shout. I know these wouldn't of existed without Blake producing his first though, they're obviously based on his work but these are much more rough round the edges and 'street' (hate saying that, but I hope you know what I mean )

according to SOS artist page....should be sometime......
Scorn We are all waiting on tender hooks for him to finish the last few prints in his Tarot Card set, He's taking his time, but they will be worth the wait!

I'm always curious when I see a comment like this - you've been a member for almost 2 years - far longer than most on this board. This is your ninth post and its, well, pointless? I'm not mocking your lack of posting - that's your choice and I respect that. I'm just curious why someone who posts so rarely would post something so inconsequential? Just cos PB did fag packets and these are fag packets...Well, so what? Neither PB nor KG had anything to do with the Small Faces Ogden's Nut Gone Flake design. Does that make that irrelevant? Or does the Small Faces cover make any future tobacco related art irrelevant? KG has used the idea of accentuated health warnings as an integral part of his work. PB didn't. His work came from an entirley different angle.
"A dog has four legs - a cat has four legs, therefore my dog is a cat...."
Or, more accurately "Same, same - but different..."

New print release, by sausageboonwee on Nov 22, 2007 23:21:28 GMT 1, I've got a Peter Blake Gauloise. An amazing piece of silkscreen art. Peter Blake's work doesn't often say anything. Just very graphic and very nice.

I've seen these in the flesh, I must agree, a very nice top quality print, there's obviously no way these will be the same quality, but they don't want to be, they're meant to be 'rough' looking.
