The Right Brain vs Left Brain test ... do you see the dancer turning clockwise or anti-clockwise?
If clockwise, then you use more of the right side of the brain and vice versa.
Most of us would see the dancer turning anti-clockwise though you can try to focus and change the direction; see if you can do it.

Not so, sit there with someone and both watch it, they will see it turning different ways at different times, had 5 of us watching it in the office at one point, with different folk fighting about which way its going.

From an image processing perspective there is no depth information in the image of the person or shadow so your eyes can't process which way it is spinning. It's actually going horizontally if anything.
