So angry I could spit, by lesbianwednesdays on Oct 10, 2007 21:57:44 GMT 1, perry i really hope this works out for you. never have i known a person enthuse so much about a particular piece of art and then be lucky enough to purchase a copy, at a very good price to boot. it would be the ultimate kick in the teeth if this chancer shirks out of his obligation and disappoints such a genuine, straight up and honest chap. lowest of the low, sellers like that.
have you contacted mr T! pez, he might be able to suggest a few options (probably along the lines of stuey's though). failing that, you could always tell him what you do for a living. 
best of luck mate, i like to believe that if you're nice to people it comes back to you and on that basis i'm sure you'll be ok.

The last few days have seen all the prints off eBay disappear and those still there have been hicked up in price. There was a seller who had tea drinker for 2k last week and its now 3k! and that is after one went last week for 1,150....

& i'm sure at some point it has been removed from the tube, even flippers would take a little peek at what they are selling.....
Ref Pez chilling, he seems to be chilled to me, if i were him i would be tempted to meet the seller & poke a spoon in his eye.................

I'm in the office at the mo so can't repeat it word for word, but I think thats close. If he's saying its never been out then there was never an opportunity for it to be damaged. Really hope it works out for you.

If the seller was being genuine and it does have a crease in it then at least he was truthful and hopefully they can come to some sort of agreement but if he wasnt and he's lied what will he do put a crease in it? Surely he won't turn up with a mint condition print and try and blag his way out of his own lie? I await the outcome. Good luck Pez, hope it goes well!

Spot on Spirit that is exactly what happened. He told me he had had a few too many bevvies last night and made up the story because he decided he didn't want to sell it.
I am now the owner of a mint condition Deep End with provenance and no mystery creases. That was harder than it should have been but we got there in the end.
