What's your favourite piece from your collection?, by jonpud on Aug 15, 2007 17:24:31 GMT 1, I wish I had the original!! It's a litho. Edition of 25. My favorite Micallef of all time. If I told you how I got my hands on it, I would have to kill you. Seriously that is stunning, only 25? No effing chance of getting my hands on one of them then! Christ if 21CL is a 9k print these days then you must be sitting on a 20K print there! Not jealous of the value, just jealous of the image, she's a beauty, good luck to you mate!!

What's your favourite piece from your collection?, by themightyreds on Aug 17, 2007 8:55:51 GMT 1, This is my pride and joy on the living room wall...
finally getting around to buying a mount for it at the weekend as it's not quite the perfect fit for this frame and it deserves to be finished off properly.

Isn't your answer going to be Guy Denning, perhaps the metal piece?

Only 25 of them exist??? How did you ever manage to get one of these? I think you're the only one on here that has one. That must feel good...you p*ick. Ha! I'm just jealous.

I'll reveal whether its 'typeface' when i see it mounted and framed. It's an arsey choice though aint it as its original, but you might be right. I do love it.
But how can you love one of your children more than the others? Thats just not right
Edit - I seem to be in framing limbo, hence why i can't decide. I'm so excited about seeing Minotaur Weapon framed, but I'm waiting for samples and the framer to come back, blah blah. But MW and Denning's metal original are going to look fabulous, I'm sure.

What's your favourite piece from your collection?, by mydeaddogwontwoof on Aug 18, 2007 14:21:53 GMT 1, A couple of recently acquired Neate canvasses, I have been waiting an age for this magic word stuff to start cropping up for sale, most of them were purchased by skaters that frequented the shop, and having spoken to some of them, it seems that a lot of stuff from this exhibition has been simply discarded over the years, big shame really as i love these early portraits and will be doing my bit to preserve them! (just to add, justinkase, love your micallef mate, very nice!)

Good call mate, i have got plans for the framing, not just to enhance their appearance, but also to help protect them, just got to get a couple of other bits done first (you know how it is!), i am undecided what colour and style to go for though, maybe black would finish them off nicely?, decisions, decisions!
