Although I dont think they are awfuful I agree with jboy in that I dont like any of his work. To me it is just a mess. But this is just my opinion and I like a nice clear image in my art.

That's cool.
As much as I love stencilling, I think there is a limit to what you can say. I like Neate's work because of the style and how the emotions in his paintings connect with me and my experiences. I just seem to feel on par with some of the pieces. That probably for another thread and time though! ;D

As for Neate - I was unsure, until I went to Elms to see the show - great in the flesh, and now I really like his work - but not as much as micallef

But am after in general:
Banksy Signed Love Rat(I don't have a signed Banksy yet(though I got the signed copy of Banging Your Head... en route) and have always really loved this print)
Micallef Friendly Fire(have loved it since the first time I saw it and am killing myself at thinking 1K was too much back in December)
David Choe x Giant Robot Skate Deck(really, really want this one)
But all of these seem a bit far off as I am doing everything in my power to save cash for the Micallef show.
PS: Got Neate's Deep End and it's beautiful, so while I don't agree with you JBoy, I respect that people have different tastes. Mine just happen to be aligned with Carlito's on the Neate front.
