second damaged print, why me???, by Strange Al on Apr 27, 2007 22:46:49 GMT 1, I paid the postage for them to send it to me, and since I was defective, I again have to pay the postage to send it back to them, including insurance and tracking and all?
How long have you been defective AB?

second damaged print, why me???, by compass on Apr 28, 2007 5:37:39 GMT 1, my friend sent an email with attached photo to Dora at POW and got this reply- The colour looks the same as the others we sent out. I think the colour may have differed slightly from being photographed to when it was printed; the artists choice of course.
"If you are unhappy with the print you can send it back to me and I will compare it to one I have here to check but I think it looks like a sepia Morons print to me..." Dora POW
the photo of the print that was sent back was green and nowhere near the sepia pictures that have been shown on here. So my guess is we are talking plenty of Green Prints. Still they are all Signed by Banksy, so i guess he ois happy with them and they may well be worth a little more due to there only be a few of them???.

second damaged print, why me???, by os1so on Apr 28, 2007 7:05:23 GMT 1, Thats not damaged, just give it a little rub!
I have taken the print out to have a look and there is no way a "little rub" will take out the crease mark that is there and its right on the stamp. I no its only a unsigned print but its my first Banksy and I have waited a long time to get hold of one, so when its framed and hanging on my wall I don't to see a crease

You should definitely keep going at it until you're happy. You never forget your first, and it'll always be the most special It's unfortunate that it has to involve so much time and trouble (and return po$tage ), but it'll be totally worth it in the end!
And Beejoir... "give it a little rub"? Unfortunately, not everything works like your wee-wee! Hahaha!! ;D

second damaged print, why me???, by lesroy on Apr 28, 2007 8:42:04 GMT 1, I understand that POW / Banksy can change colous of things, however, surely the title needs to be fairly accurate.
Eg.
Banksy - Morons - Sepia Version
You'd expect this to be sepia not green?
I'm suprised that the green ones, or any other variations haven't come out to be A/p's and subsequently more expensive. We havent see many A/p's from Banksy recently.
I reckon we could have used Sepia and the Black and white followed by maybe 25 a/p's using crazy backgrounds like the old Napalms.
Here's my effort.
I shall name this one...
"Banksy - Morons - Red Edition "

second damaged print, why me???, by pastiepie on Apr 28, 2007 12:10:33 GMT 1, that's some bad luck os1so. I don't know how they struggle to post something to Brighton, twice. Perhaps you should suggest that you'll go pay them a visit and personally collect your replacement print? Really with all the money involved in each transaction we should be right in expecting A-grade service. Mine just arrived in Australia and one of the end caps was hammered inside the actual tube, luckily there was some scrunched up paper at the end otherwise i'd be in the same boat as you.
