Believe so corblimeylimey. He did a TON of drugs when he was younger and they were/are one of the main inspirations for his work. More info here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fred_Tomaselli

i'm with lesroy though, if it were not for banksy i would have no interest in any art whatsoever. the humour and subtlty of his work is what really pulls me. yes some are obvious, but i like his work that parodies life and also art. for that reason, i would say something like show me the monet.
boring i know, but i love to think people who came by and saw it would do at least one double take to realise what they were seeing. i also love the fact it would go straight over some people's heads.
i'll probably say something completely different in a week though!

I love Banksy but have always wanted a spot painting. No regrets as I now have something I never thought would be in my grasp. Would love to get another signed Banksy one day though!

I used to live like 2 hours from there, so I got to go quite a few times. Seeing the Hallucinogenic Toreador in person is amazing. They have some of his best work there.

Never been a fan before but it totally blew me away. I don't think I have ever been affected so much by a piece of art, before or since.
