Just wanted some opinions.
I'm from Australia, living in London, and I am now going back home for a wedding and I wanted to take some prints home with me (to store until I go back for good).
I still have the original tubes of all my prints, but don't know if that's the best way (taking 20 tubes on a plane); or possibly cardboarding my portfolio so that all travel flat.
Anyone got any other suggestions?
Many thanks
Rick

...or are any of your prints larger than A2?

My other thought was tubes, taped and taped and taped together, bubble wrapped, taped with fragile stickers ALL over it.

Print shipping, by saltandiron on Mar 14, 2007 12:38:54 GMT 1, If you're going to put a few prints in one tube I'd recommend trying to find an extra wide tube, the weight probably wont be that much difference but it'll be better for the prints.

Print shipping, by rickyc on Mar 14, 2007 13:08:05 GMT 1, Thanks for your help all. Still not sure which method is best, but I'm thinking the tube might be as they are solid and easily protected (bubble wrap and then some).
Now I've just got to decide which I want to leave behind, and which I will have to go a long time without seeing...
