And probably I was the only one in my country to have the courage to buy a Banksy! So I feel very proud to own it, especially when I show to my friends who dont appreciate the art and say its ugly and worthless and you're crazy.... and then call me two weeks after to tell me "holy siht you own a banksy!" :-)
I am happy about the feedback I am reciving, in fact on the ebay board they say that "i am taking a piss".
I know the market, and believe me, up to two weeks ago no one would have thought about the BME going for 9k!
i know that i am far fetched with my auction listing (raising from 4.5k to 6.5k), and i am also aware of the 0 feedback but basically i dont use ebay much.
Anyway i will heed your suggestions, but still if it doesnt sell (99%) it does not I am still happy with the interest it generated... as I also received offers of stg 4k so basically the next grin reaper to be listed and sell will definitely hit a record (as subconciously ppl are already willing to pay more).

The 'That is Fucking Expensive' Thread, by cityman on Apr 8, 2007 16:34:42 GMT 1, and with all due respect you collectors (especially the ebay sellers) dont realise (that most of the buyers are art galleries!) so basically they buying a print "cheaper than an art gallery" they keep it for a couple of months and resell from their shops for a tidy profit! The gap between ebay and art galleries should stop. Why should I sell a print on ebay for 100 quid when i know that somewhere in the world someone might be willing to pay 150!

i still don't see many 'galleries' listing Banksy pieces other than Andipa and Bankrobber, after all we have to ignore so called 'online galleries' as they are purely folk like you and i.
