Banksy - Northern Ireland, by elwheel on Mar 13, 2009 14:06:06 GMT 1, Try the Norman Conquest in 1169. The 1169 invasion was not a religious issue but an invasion over Helen of Troy
That is my point exactly. The roots of the 830 year conflict in Ireland are not religious they are as a result of being an occupied country, a nation impeded from designing and controlling it natives destiny.

Yes but that can be said of any country. Name me a country where the natives haven been impeded. The point i was trying to make was that the IRA are no tin pot band of ruffians. their highly orchestrated and now might not be the Right time for Banksy with his sideswiping humor to be placing a piece up. Adams wearing an orange bowler ?

No not at all. I am neither pro nor anti IRA. i was suggesting only that a bansky sideswipe might not be the most appropriate thing to do in view of country's history. The bit about Mountbatten slippers was a reference to the time the IRA blow him up on a boat in the Irish sea, thats all, nothing more.
