While the image is important to the overall desire of the prints, I look at quality and edition size. I have over 100 prints currently from Banksy to no name up and comers and the closest print i have that looks exactly like a canvas and has deep texture are Millers stuff.

I guess more than a few people would be inclined to disagree, seeing as the price is now £1,600.

So? I don't care whether lot's are buying it, just doesn't do anything for me. If having an opinion that differs from them is allowed.

Harland Miller in WhiteCube, by john1539 on Apr 19, 2011 13:14:56 GMT 1, Hi guys, I bought one for 1400£. Price is now 1600£ and White Cube told me they have sold 30 out of 50 and they are receiving many emails of interest. The print was only released yesterday !! So if you are hesitating, don't hesitate too long... P)

Harland Miller in WhiteCube, by Strange Al on Apr 19, 2011 14:31:16 GMT 1, I like Miller's paintings/prints and, like many of you, I'm half regretting not buying one of the original WhiteCube prints a few months back before the hype kicked off.
At this price, I can't justify the cost. I think there's more interesting work out there in the contemporary print scene, for less money.
I do wonder how many of the buyers are connected with the forum/street art scene and whether our spending habits are driving up the prices. I did an ebay search for Harland Miller the other day and Banksy, Nick Walker, etc came up in the related searches function, which I thought was a little odd.

The incremental price increase is to catch out the gullible artaholic into buying this drivel. have you bought yours yet?

Harland Miller in WhiteCube, by legalalien on Apr 24, 2011 10:58:03 GMT 1, If it is sold out how come the price isn't higher? It said it would bump the price every 10 copies sold - it only bumped the price twice, once to 1400 and another time to 1600.

I appreciate the humour and painterly quality not sure if I get the high end value. Goes to show that you dont have to collect something to like it.
