Tips for trip to Paris......., by dasium on May 19, 2011 14:39:22 GMT 1, Hey all,
I know there are a few forum members from France and in particular Paris on here.... would love to hear of where to see some street art, a fan of C215, Ludo in particular, or hear of any exhibits/galleries to visit.
Heading over the 30th June....
Haven't booked any accommodation yet so any suggestions would be great. Just staying for 2 nights as heading up to the Main Square festival in the Citadel of Arras....

Good place to start... have seen a few pic's of his pieces popping up around Paris, hopefully I'll catch some in situ and not see them on ebay beforehand....

Galerie Itinรฉrance seems a good spot for some C215.... think that might be where Brushstrokes picked up all those Dran pieces for forum members...

Think may have sold my self short in just going for 2 days... still haven't booked a flight home so after the trip up to Arras for the music festival, might have to pop back! Have been to Paris previously but for rugby/football... different type of trip this time...

for acc try residence-pelican, it's a flat Paries 1er two steps from Louvre and as pricey as 3-4 stars hotels which only offer tiny room for that price. and flat is more fun, free timing, have takeaway...

It depends what you want to do lol
If you want to check out some great street art. Have to go to Vitry, outside Paris (about 20 min from the center, in the south east).
Not the best place to hang out (as it can be a bit dangerous, prefer to precise) but hometown to C215 and a lot of international artists came to pose there (including a few members) def one of the place to check out.
In Paris, you should check out the North East, where a lot of parisian artists went to pose. JR/Blek/Jef Aerosol/Mosco....
Hit me up & I'll let you know anything.

Les Halles and Oberkamph (sp?) has some nice street art too.
Magda Danysz gallery has a very impressive display of shep posters at the moment.
If you are into Monet, go to the Galerie L'orangerie and check out the water nymphs - breathtaking space.
Food - best meal I had was at Cafe constant near the Eiffel tower.
