Banksy • Tesco Petrol Bomb Poster, by Masong on Feb 7, 2021 22:57:38 GMT 1, BOTH FAKE. Look at the smoke on a real one: I can't help but to see "Rat with Balloon" in the smoke of the authentic ones.
Same! Such a great call by dotdot. Can’t unsee it now I know it’s there.

Banksy • Tesco Petrol Bomb Poster, by Ruskr on Feb 8, 2021 12:41:30 GMT 1, Ive bought a Fake framed Museum Standard by a Member here. Now he does not want return the Money before I ship it back around half the world. Even when he admitted it was fake. He told me such a long Story about the dead solid Provenance from somebody sold it which works on POW. Bought also a Rat, Soupcan and Hotel Poster from him. Just again a expensive lesson not to buy from People without Reputation. What is the members username please, Ruskr ? urbanartassociation.com/thread/168178/banksy-on-hold This Guy

Banksy • Tesco Petrol Bomb Poster, by Ruskr on Feb 8, 2021 13:38:46 GMT 1, Ok, where should I start, I was looking for some of this cheap Banksy stuff. Crisis, Soupcan, Rat, Hotel Poster and some other stuff.
Than a guy contacted me on UAA and we got in touch on WhatsApp. In the beginning everything was easy going and worked out well. First we talked about the Rat and later on he sold me the RAT, Soupcan, Petrolbomb and Poster, we agreed that he would ship it to germany because it was much easier. So ive paid the full amount upfront. (first Plan was that my wife will pick it up when she is in Amsterdam with her friends, but it did not work out because of corona)
A couple days later the Pieces arrived in Germany and got shipped to me a bit later. Everything good so far, than I framed the Rat and sent a Picture of the Rat and the the Petrol Bomb to my WhatsApp Group in which are a few decent UAA Members, a couple minutes later I received a few Messages that they think the Petrol Bomb is fake. So ive checked on the Forum and yes, it was fake, a very very bad fake.
So ive contacted the seller and wanted to resolve it in a civil Manner. After he started to discuss, so ive got very angry, he directly admitted that it was fake but he wanted to talk first to the Person where he have it bought from. So ive told him I don't care about the Person who he have bought it from. He sold it to me for 3200 GBP which was a very good deal for him.
What was the Provenance: He told me the Petrol Bomb is from a Artists which worked at that time in Bristol at POW. (I don't want to Name the Artist at this Point here) Also wanted to send me some Proofs later. But never received something.
Why I think Barki is his second Account? 1. On the 14th of January at 14:00 prnt.sc/ypf9i0 he wrote me on WhatsApp after not talking for probably a Month and asked me if I want to buy another GDP Rat he have one for sale. Barki offered on the same Day also a Rat urbanartassociation.com/thread/169460/selling-banksy-gdp-rat
2. In this thread Barki is also selling a Petrol Bomb urbanartassociation.com/thread/169220/selling-banksy-petrol-bomb back in December ralphhitter offered me also some Banksy Posters with the exactly green/white folder in the background. prnt.sc/ypedfh prnt.sc/ypf28q
3. A Couple minutes after I did a Post here in the thread we had a phonecall and he asked me not to do more Posts because he saw the one I did and he will solve the Problem now. So ive checked his Account and saw he was last time 12 hours ago online, I also have screenshots on this.
Even if bark is not his second account he lied a lot, selling me a unframed real petrol bomb from xxxxx but I received a fake Petrol Bomb.
Btw. prnt.sc/yph9f6 that's what he told me about the petrol bomb. prntscr.com/yphgei Thats what I get, a framed petrol bomb. prntscr.com/yphsbb Provenance - never received the Invoice and the things he promised. urbanartassociation.com/thread/168178/banksy-on-hold - The seller do know how fakes look.
Also never received the receipt for the Poster or the invoice for the Soupcan.
After all the Lies and all the BS ive told him he can send me the money in a irreversible Way - Wire, PayPal Friends or Bitcoin. And then he can have his Trash fake back. What he did? He send it as eBay or product payment, however it is called.- that was yesterday (because he did not want that I do a post on UAA)
Till now I gave him a shitload of chances and explained him my issue very nice. But now im just damm pissed and angry after dealing already several days with this bullshit.
I won't post any Names or Details except what you can see here. Ralphhitter isn't his real name so all is good.

Banksy • Tesco Petrol Bomb Poster, by cARTman on Feb 8, 2021 14:33:18 GMT 1, Hi UAA,
I would like to clarify the situation here. I bought 2 petrol bomb from a for me trusted source. The source was said to be a 'old POW employee'. As there was 0 reason to second guess this I took it at face value. After some time I decided to sell the prints which I did via UAA.
After 1 buyer received the package (shipped in september/ oktober) but only received in februari somehow. (Guess it wasn't shipped directly to the final destination) He contacted me that in his opinion the Petrol Bomb was fake (this weekend). As I do not want to sell fakes I offered to fully reimburse him and cover the shipping charges back. After some discussion I even agreed to even send the money upfront via paypal before returning the item. Not as an admission of deliberately sending him a fake but as a reminder that I am of good faith.
The buyer is currently saying that I am using multiple accounts, hustling him etc. I've tried to be as correct and reasonable as possible. However In my opinion by sending him the cash back upfront I am acknowledging that I feel responsible for this mistake. However at this time buyer is unwilling to send the piece back to me. This will as you understand will cost me as I cannot go back to the initial source (not TateWard for the curious) to recoup my own costs. The buyer is now insisting on a additional BTC or Friend & Family payment upfront to not post about this on UAA or even sending it back. As I've already lost the costs of the petrol + the funds send to the buyer yesterday so I am unwilling to do this.
BTW I pro actively approached the other buyer and have asked him to return the item. He was disappointed but was happy of the way I picked it up. Note that this buyer is also a forum member.
I see this as something between buyer and me. However as he want to openly post it I wanted to clarify what happened. As the buyer respected my privacy by not posting any details I will also not share any.
As this forum is a wonderfull place to share art and knowledge:
In your guys (woman) opinion can I do anything else?

Never asked for additional. Told you from the first minute. If PayPal ONLY Friends payment. And a lot of other stuff you just turned around.

Banksy • Tesco Petrol Bomb Poster, by Ruskr on Feb 8, 2021 14:43:26 GMT 1, Ralph... Pay the man immediately and let him destroy the fakes. Sometimes you take one on the chin. From the looks of this thread and the others, you both appear to be in way over your heads...
He can have his fake back. I have zero interest in his work. After all the lies the only I want is the money in a irreversible way. And Second, I really don’t care so much about the money. The reason why I did the post is to protect other users from the same happening.

Banksy • Tesco Petrol Bomb Poster, by Happy Shopper on Feb 8, 2021 17:35:28 GMT 1, The buyer is currently saying that I am using multiple accounts, hustling him etc. I've tried to be as correct and reasonable as possible. Interesting coincidence that you and Barki took photos of your posters on an identical patterned worktop/folders though isn't it? Strange!
And why send a refund in a reversible way? After being sold a fake you can understand a buyer being concerned.
Just saying...

I'm not entirely sure of the timeline here, but am I correct in thinking cARTman sold the fake PB poster after the forum told him it was fake? He sold it before to me, about the 16th November . But he did not inform me. So he should know because he had pictures of his one.

Banksy • Tesco Petrol Bomb Poster, by cARTman on Feb 9, 2021 8:55:48 GMT 1, I have offered the buyer a full refund and additionally the cost of shipping to here. The only reason that I do not agree on directly destroying these is that I want to go back to the person I bought them from or at least have a fair change to show him with the pieces in hand.
The buyer has all my personall info name adres socials. However he only wants to ship it back after he received a btc/ pp friend and family payment. I have send him the money via normal pp upfront however he did not accepted it and refunded the money (yesterday)
The other buyer has agreed to send the piece back to me and will be fully reinbursed upon receival. However ruskr responded that he does not care what the other buyer did.
In my opinion I cannot do more then offer a refund and also cover the shipping charges back. The story here on the forum is only a small part what went down on whats app. I fully understand the anger he has and am equally angry as I got duped to. However 3 days of receiving very nice whats app messages on how I should act and what happens if I dont act doesn’t change the fact that a full refund and providing compensation for the shipping is reasonable..
When I sold both in november I had 0 concerns with the authenticity. I will take it on the chin for the shipping charges and the value apreciation between when i bought and sold. However as they were sold to me as genuine with a whole provenance story I want to go back pieces in hand to try and get a refund for my cost.
As other members stated thats how a refund normally works. You send the item back and get fully reimbursed...

Its like buying a fake Bitcoin for $20k, giving it back and its now worth $47k.
Wouldn't sit right with me.

Banksy • Tesco Petrol Bomb Poster, by Ruskr on Feb 9, 2021 10:14:30 GMT 1, Was paid in Bitcoin and part by PayPal(Friends) - with the current value more than 25k. But I did not ask for returning the amount in BTC. I’ve asked for the Price of the Petrol Bomb. Even not the Shipping and Fees and all the stuff I’ve paid. Just 3200 GBP on PayPal or wire.
Returning a Piece the Normal way is no problem. If somebody sell a fake accidentally and is not full of shit and lies!
And what’s the half story? I’ve told you on WhatsApp you are a bullshiter and a poor idiot which have to scam people on the forum for 3k. And that you better don’t do this with me or you have to deal with the consequences. First I also thought about just let it go. But than a couple of friends told me, don’t let it go, give this guy a lesson, because if everybody just let it go he will do it over and over again over the forum.

Yep, I also expect most of the buyers of these fakes have been left with a bad taste in their mouth and wouldn't bother seeking a genuine one now, as it will just be a reminder.

Who did you buy these fake posters from?
I have offered the buyer a full refund and additionally the cost of shipping to here. The only reason that I do not agree on directly destroying these is that I want to go back to the person I bought them from or at least have a fair change to show him with the pieces in hand. The buyer has all my personall info name adres socials. However he only wants to ship it back after he received a btc/ pp friend and family payment. Banksy • Tesco Petrol Bomb Poster, by Graham H on Feb 9, 2021 11:31:10 GMT 1, These Petrol Bomb threads really make me shake my head.. Im not sure if we will ever know just how big this full sh*t show really is.. and how many people are seriously out of pocket.
Stands to reason that this wont be the only example of this happening in the future with so many authorised / non COA'd prints and items now worth so much money we will no doubt see runs of other images and items fololowing a similar fake pattern im sure.. especially with so many newer people trying to buy into the Banksy gravy train
The most interesting thing with all these fakes that have been sold is how much money people are out of pocket with regards to current values. Its like buying a fake Bitcoin for $20k, giving it back and its now worth $47k. Wouldn't sit right with me. Yep, I also expect most of the buyers of these fakes have been left with a bad taste in their mouth and wouldn't bother seeking a genuine one now, as it will just be a reminder.

Not taking away from people that are out of pocket and going through the stress and financial loss of getting duped, but this is also frustrating for people who own genuine posters.

Banksy • Tesco Petrol Bomb Poster, by Ruskr on Feb 9, 2021 11:41:18 GMT 1, Hello Guys,
as you might know ive bought a fake Petrol bomb and did not find a Solution with the Seller. Ive bought it on the 16th of November for around 0.53 BTC - (today about 25k USD) Just asked to return 3200 GBP in a irreversible Way.
So I decided to take it to my Poolhouse Basement and destroy it.
(Just that the seller is not coming up with a wrong Idea, I don't want to threaten or scare him with a Gun)
After destroying the Fake I will let it go and forget.
Video will follow - just choose the caliber I should use.

Banksy • Tesco Petrol Bomb Poster, by Ruskr on Feb 9, 2021 11:41:55 GMT 1, I think Birdshot is the most fun.
I would love to shoot a bigger caliber, but my home shooting range is not licensed for it.
