Maybe it's the different colours, printers proofs, artists proofs etc. make it seem like there are many. There are definately many oil cans though.
I wouldn't like to see Oil Can's on the decks either, not really the right image for a deck.

What about mermaids on top of oil cans? Both were oil orientated prints...

I did grab some thin 4mm clear rubber tube (like a straw) to protect the wood from the line but that's probably not needed... rolled card would work too as long as it's cut no thicker than the deck.
I just use a bit of fishing line (22lb) doubled up and looped through the board holes for the trucks and hang it on a standard picture hook and mine have been like that for 4-5 years.... No problem.

as you can see i like a skate deck or two - i think they look good on the wall and are much cheaper than prints (albeit they're not often signed or numbered)
