How come if I try an ride a skate board, a stone will stop me, but others can flip a board onto a rail and back down again? I think it is safe to say I am beyond skating age.

Ha, yeah right, none of these will be skated. They should sell these only as complete boards with some ugly grip tape attached and trucks and wheels bolted on.
Would love to skate these but I can't risk breaking a hip at my age ;D

Good thanks neale, okay I admit it I am well beyond skating age.
I did skate at one time, unfortunately it was in the late seventies. I suspect that if I went into a hospital with a broken arm after falling off a skate board these days, that I would get little sympathy.
