Just got home from a short trip and found my Bucky on canvas waiting for me.
It looks downright dirty..just the way I like my Bast.
Off to get it stretched tomorrow!

Bast is going to take care of me, and I am not letting FedEx get away with this. It made for a pretty grim day, though, showing up at work and seeing the tube in that condition. I'm amazed the delivery guy could hand it over with a straight face. On a slightly positive note: I guess the other folks who bought a Dusty now have an even more rare print, seeing as it's out of 6, not 7.

Moving backwards to cliched stencils (that squirrel and grenade, seriously, really) and simpler ideas - really don't think it shows progression or in fact decent work - but it must be working to get alot of you onboard. In my opinion of course and actually being a very big Bast fan at that!

I see the Disney style characters as great fun street pieces but not something you want to see every day, having said that, not sure I would want to see YSL every day but it's got a big Bast headline so its an instant classic IMO. Each to there own, I'm sure both shows will be the opposite to what ever we expect. That's what Bast does isn't it.

I also like that he's tried to stencil key foods graphics onto pieces as opposed to using key foods signs (although I'd love a key food piece). Most of all I like that he just does what he wants. He's totally unpredictable in everything other than his unpredictability.
I went to the show last night and he was definitely getting the most attention. I got there at 7:05 and the large piece and green piece had already sold. I know that doesn't mean the work is good, but he certainly makes work that gets noticed.
