ebay non-payment opinions, by gbh on Jul 2, 2007 0:58:28 GMT 1, But its another reason not to spend money you DONT have.
Is that a response to my comments? if so, I don't see any relevance there in the slightest. Are you saying I should budget and organise my finances based on the NON ability of ebay buyers to pay for the auctions they have (knowingly and accordingly to the clearly defined rules) won?
Your argument is spinning off into a totally different to cosmos to that of the original post.
Can anyone who feels the actions of the winning bidder are acceptable please PM me your eBay user name so as I can add you to my blocked bidders list?

ebay non-payment opinions, by ricosg11 on Jul 2, 2007 2:10:27 GMT 1, listen man relax. And yes im saying that if you are counting on income from ebay users its best to exercise caution and not over extend yourself. It sucks and it happens and its not going to stop unfortunately. Your avg person is pretty ignorant.
Im not saying its right but as with anything you need to weigh out the risks and realities of situations you put yourself in.

ebay non-payment opinions, by gbh on Jul 2, 2007 2:31:14 GMT 1, I still fail to see the relevance of that argument when we have a winning bidder that agreed to the rules, had chances to ask questions, bidded high and won the auction. That is where the discussion should be focussed.
Should be ebay just completely ditch their rules and then sellers can start to manage their finances with the contingency approach you are suggesting? My finances are fine, just making a point for demonstration purposes. Obviously that point didn't catch. IMHO there is no excuses at all for this behaviour. Bidders and sellers know the rules, there is no ambiguity. I don't believe excusing the buyers behaviour in anyway is the correct thing to do.
In relaity and totally relaxing.

ebay non-payment opinions, by ricosg11 on Jul 2, 2007 2:54:23 GMT 1, You are right. 100%. But buyers back out all the time. Im just stating their are a lot of shady people on ebay. This situation being somewhat of an exception.
