However, his free-hand characters are quite unique and I like most of his images with the "shadow man". I've never seen Banksy doing a graffiti tree either... |

Is the current choice of art landscapes or kenny random? Or is this just the category for nice art?
Seriously you make a point of note -you're quite correct art doesn't need to challenge a world view, my limited often misinterpreted view tends to lean towards art that will keep me enthralled longer than a cup of tea. I fear Kenny's work wouldn't make it to my digestive getting soggy vicar!

Im going away for a few days on Sunday, so am hoping to tie up a deal today so I can post them in the morning.

It's cheaper, faster process and they know people will still buy, at high (or low) prices. Technically, yes things have changed regarding quality etc. as most things do. The more people continue to purchase giclees the more you will see artists and galleries pushing them. This, is only the beginning. I still think it's very sad, as it isn't my choice when buying art if I can't afford an original. But from what I have read on here, many don't care or seem to mind. |
