Inside Art Collectors Homes, by blerd on Jul 16, 2018 8:29:14 GMT 1, Amazing insight! Thanks for the input...I was wondering what you thought. Remember buddy no matter how many posts you make we'll remember that none of them had value. Its great youre so positive but unfortunately none of your posts have any point. Share some insight....go on, I dare you. You haven't created one thread... Spammed by posts is enough, let’s not encourage threads too. Genuine question what is this guy/guys about? I thought he would stop after 500 posts in 2 weeks but he's still spamming the hell out of this place with absolute ball bags.

Nice pad, wre the windows crittal? Was thinking of using it for my extension doors but was a bit concerned about the thermal properties.

Unfortunately, people bite/reply. Not sure why though? What's the first rule on trolls and feeding them? Just block/ignore.

Not a million miles away. The known quantities such as windows, doors, stairs, kitchen, bathrooms etc were bang on budget. However, the concrete frame, reinforcement, groundworks, machinery hire, formwork are higher than hoped. But, as an experimental build, there has been loads of knowledge gained for the next one.

Inside Art Collectors Homes, by met on Jul 26, 2018 13:34:23 GMT 1, [...] I keep coming back to this I really like the colour of the skirting and door frames and of course staircase, so much nicer than white. I have just finished painting all mine white (3 levels) now a big f**kingdecision needs to be made by me, i am very tempted to do it all again, cheers . :-)
The staircase captured my attention as well, but more from a critical perspective. Given its prominence and scale, its dark tone feels slightly oppressive to me.
Of greater interest, however, was the choice of newel posts, including the newel drops and caps. It would be good to hear what alternatives were considered, if any.
I find them visually disruptive, creating a stop-and-start effect on the natural flow of the eye.
For me, this becomes a distraction — which also diminishes the impact of the artwork above the landing.

I like the newel posts, big, square, chunky, masculine. If i was to be critical i would want to see the stair carpet sorted
As to the artwork above, thats an easy fix. Change the art or change the staircase?
The stairs will stand the test of time, i see so much glass with stainless, or continuous handrails. Nice to see something different.

Just asking cause my 2 years old already has very strong opinions on what we should buy and what should be hanged where, hence I wonder what the future holds 😊 (e.g. a Mr Braiwash had to leave the house, but she was really into getting a Silver Flag).
