edit: forgot to quote

I'd care..

Inside Art Collectors Homes, by seanergy on Nov 19, 2014 17:22:00 GMT 1, Sound thanks, your right but beggars can't be choosers, Most of the gaps im filling are 80, the insulation is 100, im hoping a 20% squeeze won't be major!? better than nothing!
In hindsight I might build a 2x2 frame to make the gap in this photo which is 60 deeper.
best wishes, sound comment

Inside Art Collectors Homes, by AoT Framing on Nov 21, 2014 21:05:17 GMT 1, The last picture is by Henrik Simonsen entitled 'yellow and blue' I used to sell a lot of work by him but unfortunately it's now more and more difficult to come by as he's now represented by a New York gallery - Wally Findlay and his prices have tripled in the last 2 years. Great artist!

Inside Art Collectors Homes, by Aza on Nov 23, 2014 14:17:13 GMT 1, I had to clear up some wall space so made a feature wall in my bedroom.
A little tip for anyone doing a similar thing, which is probably obvious: I measured my wall and all the art work, then converted millimetres into pixels. In photoshop I opened a new page to represent my wall, then put all the art works on so I could shuffle them around and see the best layout.

Aza that looks fabulous. Strangely I did a salon hang today in a bedroom. I am afraid I went for the no preparation method and just banged them up (the two bits of wood are the bed headboards). Quite pleased with the first time pass.
