your friend sounds like a really really smart business not to be on the forum. I mean, £395 via paypal gift didnt sound weird to you just because the last one on ebay went for x amount of dollars? You didnt think it was weird or wrong of your "friend" to ask you to ask your fellow forum members to pay market value for a print and throw ebay fees, paypal fees and buyer protection all out the window? Ask your friend or put it on there ebay account with a buy it now of £395 and then let him/her (cause you said friend then you said their dface so I don't want to assume anything just going by what you said there ) see what they net and the hassles and dangers of posting a piece of art.

I recommended to them the gift thing and putting it on the forum as they were going to put it on eBay but I said I'll try the forum.

Got the receipt with it which stated what number...will now open it to check and buyer can check too...also am hoping to achieve £450 for this. If no luck then off to flee bay.

I picked up a DFace "Going Nowhere Fast" in all the excitement straight after release in a trade/part exchange deal and it's just not going to make it in to a frame any time soon. The trade was worth £425 to me (I thought I got a good deal at the time, in retrospect I am pretty sure I got the s**tty end of the stick, but ho-hum!!). I'd love to get that amount back, but have a sneaky suspicion that ain't gonna happen so drop me your (not too offensive) offer and we'll go from there...
