This is the same guy who thinks I shouldn't be allowed to buy the next banksy and swap it for my favourite banksy which would be my pride and joy and on the wall for all to see and not in a portfolio (acid free mind) collecting dust...or value!

However, since his weekly releases and the direction they are now going (artisitcally). I dont see myself as a fan anymore. I am not trying to eanr a fortune nor am I 'flipping' them the same day i bought them.
They were purchased quite a while ago in the days when people bought art to collect and NOT to sell at an inflated price the next day.
Yet again it brings the rightous ones out of the woodwork. Now lets not go down the road of how long you have to own something before its fair to sell it as we have all been there before.
Discoduster - imo this is different to you advertising the fact that you will try to get the next banksy print - whatever it is - purely to try and swap. All i said was let someone who really wants it get it as you are stopping a genuine collector buy a print they would like.
I have not stopped anyone buying an Obey print as they were around for years at the time of buying them.
Need i carry on or have you got the message yet?

What some of you forget is that I have helped many buyers in the past by trying to give them good, genuine advice. I had a similar argument with someone on here a few months ago. We have sinced kissed and made up but dont forget its not worth pissing off those of us who have some knowledge on the subject.

these prints aren't for me and i'm sure there are many obey/shep fans on here, they should feel free to get in touch or comment, the rest of us need not bother unless we are interested.
jeez people there are enough people to nark at if you're p'eed off on a sunday, matt is one of the good guys. i know that makes me a hypocrite but i'm merely passing on the benefit of hindsight so you lot don't go upsetting a knowledgable and constructive member of this and other forums.
perhaps he should list his collection of prints up here for all to see to gain respect but i'd like to think we're not all that shallow.
oh, and i guarantee you'd turn a fetching shade of green whilst you're there.

Only 4 prints (offhand) were produced as editions of 750 lithographs.
